We are a group of people striving to serve and honor Christ. We are committed to serving God and to seeking and saving the lost (Matthew 28:18-20). When you visit our worship service you will find that only the truth of the Bible is preached and it is always presented in a loving way (Ephesians 4:15).
Members are encouraged to live pure lives and to continue to be faithful to God's word. Those outside of Christ are urged to obey the gospel by believing in Him, repenting of their sins, confessing their faith in Christ and being immersed to wash their sins away (Acts 2:38; 22:16; Mark 16:16). Upon doing such they are automatically added to the church, the body of Christ (Acts 2:47; Ephesians 1:22, 23).
Our members refer to the congregation as the "church of Christ", not in a denominational sense, but in the sense in which Paul used the phrase in Romans 16:16. We are committed to simple and spiritual worship (cf. John 4:24). When you come to our worship services you will find that we: sing (A Cappella); take the Lord's supper weekly as a memorial of the death of Jesus; preach from the word of God; pray
together; and take the opportunity to give as we have been prospered.

Minister
Randy Mathis grew up in Arlington, Texas where he attended the Handley church of Christ. There he grew to love the work of the church and began his journey into the ministry at the age of 15 when he was given the opportunity to offer Wednesday Night Devotionals. His youth minister, Doug Martin, played a major role in his future decision to go into full time ministry.
Randy married the former Kimberly Rose of Lawton, OK in May of 2002 and in January of 2003 began course work at the Brown Trail School of Preaching in Bedford, Texas. Upon graduation he and Kimberly moved to Tennessee to attend Freed-Hardeman University. While at Freed Randy began his first work as an Associate Minister working alongside Earl Edwards at the Finger church of Christ.
Randy has preached in Texas, Tennessee and Oklahoma; he serves on the Board of Directors of Camp LuJo KISMIF and spends several weeks through the year working camp sessions.
Randy and Kimberly have twin boys, Noah and Caleb.
Randy says, “I am excited about the future of the Lord’s Church here in Colleyville. Our congregation is focused and driven and our members are involved. I am proud to be associated with such a dedicated group of Christians and look forward to our years of service together.” Email Randy Visit Randy's Blog
